EverTest

EverTest is a qualifiable tool for dynamic verification of Simulink^® and Stateflow^® models that enables test-driven development. The tool supports SIL and PIL verification with manually developed or automatically generated external code. EverTest supports the creation, management, execution, assessment, and documentation of simulation-based tests. The tool enables requirements-based, equivalence, and back-to-back testing. You can generate verification reports, archive and review test results, rerun failed tests, and analyze the data and control flows in the models with an integrated step-by-step debugger.

EverTest was developed for small teams that create models and run low-level unit tests for compliance with functional safety standards. It provides a simple workflow for applying the required verification methods and generating verification reports based on IEC 61508 (SIL 3) or ISO 26262 (ASIL‑D). EverTest is certified for dynamic model verification within a qualified development environment under both standards. The tool improves the effectiveness of Model-Based Design for small teams.

EverTest is a fully documented toolbox for MATLAB^® with an API for test automation. EverTest provides a Simulink blockset for exchanging data between Simulink and test tables in Excel^®. EverTest Source and Sink blocks are Level-2 MATLAB S-functions. EverTest is compatible with MATLAB R2018a and higher.
