Is it possible to create an app that allows you to view the command window on a mobile device

Hi there,

Out of pure curiosity, is it at all possible to be able to view the progress of your code from your mobile device. The reason I ask is because there are sometimes codes that operate over an hour span, and I would like to check periodically to know if the code ran into any issues or if it has finished.

I am not sure if this is even possible or if there is any hacking required to do so. But I would love to know if anybody has any crazy ideas for something like this.

I had no idea there was an app! I can’t believe I didn’t see that when I was researching this topic.

My next question is, can I link the app to the license open on my laptop such that I can view its progress?

No :(

I can, though, recommend some of the remote viewing programs. I use one to do remote work on my mother's computer, and it is quite useful. I happen to know that the particular one I use offers an Android interface (I never checked about iPhone.)

The one I use (TeamViewer) is free for personal use, but would not be free for commercial use. There are others such as Microsoft Remote Desktop that are free I think (or perhaps there is a modest charge for the app.)
