4 days ago, everything was working just fine. But then this strange problem cropped up when I took an internet connection for my laptop. When the connection is on, and try to start MATLAB, it wont Start! though the process MATLAB.exe can be found in the task manager. I left the laptop on overnight that it might start. In the morning, it still didn't start though the process was still there in task manager. But there is no problem when internet connection is not on. I connect through an ADSL line and I use Windows 7. No drivers are corrupt(Checked the device manager). I am a novice in these issues. Please help!!

school version? My school-version MATLAB has user- and internet-limitation. When the number of users is full or when you're not in the internet domain (specified for school), there is no way to use MATLAB. This is the problem I met. Hope this helps.

Are you connecting through a VPN? If so then there can be problems getting proper license access. Which MATLAB version are you using?
