Error 353 and error 1.616 indicate that there are no additional activations available on the license in question. To activate MATLAB using this license, you will need to deactivate at least one existing activation. Please see the article below on how to deactivate.
How do I deactivate MATLAB?
You may also see this error if you tried activating a desktop installation of MATLAB with an online-only license. Please review the download options of your license or try selecting a different license for use.
If you are still receiving error 353 or 1616 but do not see any activations listed in the License Center, this may mean that your administrator performed the activations and the admin will need to deactivate them.
Activation Labels that were made automatically are either the Volume Serial Number or MAC Address of the computer in question.
