Readtable for excel workbook file

What command can I use to read an excel workbook(xlsx) file as a table into MATLAB?Also, how do I skip the first 5 rows of the workbook as Headerlines?

readtable() with 'range', 'A6'

Also look at the Name-Value pair arguments for readtable. Note that, for Spreadsheet files, only these parameter names apply: FileType, ReadVariableNames, ReadRowNames, TreatAsEmpty, DatetimeType, Sheet, Range, UseExcel, and TextType.

Not with readtable. You are asking about ActiveX syntax. For that, see this example and this Answers post.
