How to fix an "index exceeds the number of array elements (1) error"

Your y0 is one number subtracted from another, not two numbers. When you want a negative number, put the negative sign immediately beside the number, 1 -1 or else use a comma between elements 1,- 1 but 1 - 1 is subtraction
