I am attempting to generate code from a MATLAB model that calls Simulink models using functions akin to sim? Is it possible to generate c code from this structure and from sim like functions?
Any help would be great thanks.
Cheers,
Josh

Hi Joshua,
I understand that you want to generate c code for a MATLAB Script with commands such as “sim”.
The 'sim' command is not supported for MATLAB Coder. For more information on MATLAB Language Features Supported for C/C++ Code Generation please refer to the documentation:

Though relatively recently, support for sim() got added for compilation; see https://www.mathworks.com/help/slcompiler/ug/generate-modify-and-deploy-a-matlab-app-for-a-simulink-model.html
This is MATLAB Compiler and Simulink Compiler, not MATLAB Coder and Simulink Coder, so it is not exactly what the user was asking for... but might perhaps have happened to be usable for the user's needs.
