Hello -
I am trying to use the highlight function to change the properties of some nodes of a graph.
When I use
highlight(g,1)
where g is a graph object, I get the error message "check for missing argument or incorrect argument data type in call to function 'highlight' "
If I try simply
highlight
I get an unrecognized function or variable error.
I do not think highlight is in a toolbox, so why the error? Furthermore when I try
help highlight
I receive the appropriate message.
Thanks.

The description of the first input argument H listed on the documentation page indicates it must be a GraphPlot object created by calling plot on a graph or digraph. You can't highlight the graph or digraph objects themselves.

Thanks. Makes sense. I was thrown off by the “not found” message when calling it without inputs. Still unsure why that happens as opposed to “not enough inputs” which I expected.
