Hello, I'm trying to use the functions of the toolbox "Signal Processing" but I think that I have a problem with the licence. I'm working with the MATLAB Version R2007a and the signal processing toolbox seems installed according to the command "ver": MATLAB Version .... Signal Processing Toolbox Version 6.0 (R13) .... BUT the command "license checkout Signal_Processing" gives me: License checkout failed. License Manager Error -18 ... ans = 0 If the version R2007a, that is installed on my computer, includes the "Signal Processing" toolbox, I should have the licence for this toolbox, or..? How can I check and correct this problem? Thank you in advance

You can call Installation Support free of charge if you are having troubles.
The short answer is that it sounds like the (I'm assuming this) flexlm server serving your license doesn't have a free license of the toolbox, or doesn't have the toolbox license in its license file.
Other possible problems might be that your machine can't connect to the license server, but if that was the case I'd expect that you wouldn't be able to start MATLAB and would get a license error on startup -- it sounds a lot more like the license file is incorrect.

-18 is "License server does not support this feature."
So the license server is active but does not have any licenses for the feature at all (not even ones that are in use.)
