Error unrecognised function or Variable 'ss'

Hello
I am trying to use the state space model in my MATLAB code, however my Matlab is not recognising it and giving me always the error. I am using R2020a Student Version on Mac Pc.
My Error:
Unrecognized function or variable 'ss'.
Error in ex_2 (line 16)
sys1 = ss(-1/(R*C), 1/(R*C), 1, 0);
My Code:
figure('Name', 'Exercise e)', 'NumberTitle', 'off');
%%Setting arguments and values
R = 1000;
C = 0.001;
L = 100;
%%Establishing matrixes for later use
matrix1 = [0, -1/(L*C); 1, -R/L];
matrix2 = [1, 0];
matrix3 = [0, 1/(L*C)];
%%Creating the functions of the graphs
sys1 = ss(-1/(R*C), 1/(R*C), 1, 0);
sys2 = ss(matrix1, matrix2, matrix3, 0);
%%Drawing the graphs on the same figure
subplot(2,1,1);
impulse(sys1, sys2);
subplot(2,1,2);
step(sys1, sys2);

Hi,
I actually have it installed and still get the error. I dont know what could be wrong.
Hi, sorry to hear you are having issues.
Can you please post the code that is creating the error. Please also type "ver" at the command line and post the resulting list of products.
