Plot pop out card

Hi All,

Probably something very simple but how can I get a plot to pop out a card in a similar way to when you click a plot point manually?

I've got a step and impulse response plot of a tf and I want the user to be able to input a time, click the generate button and once generated the plot would have the pop up card stating the amplitude at that time.

The screen shot bellow is me manually clicking the plot to show what im trying to get happen.

Hi Walter, Ive tried to use datatip this morning but matlab states the function is no longer supported and as such doesnt work. Ive tried an exact copy of the example code from the link you've listed also just to rule out anything wrong on my part.
