Window moves when menu opens

I have a GUI that brings up a menu on pressing some buttons, and when this happens, the GUI moves to its default position on the screen, even if it has been moved. Is there a way to disable this behaviour? I have tried various searches but don't think I'm describing the problem well enough for google!

Probably you have not specified the positions manually for GUI using 'Position' property.

Possibly your callbacks for the menu are calling the GUI itself by name, causing it to re-execute the code that sets the position.
