How to open .slx files created in R2019b using R2019a

I participated in the online MATLAB course Simulink for System and Algorithm Modeling. The course files and work files were created using R2019b, according to the error message (see below). I cannot open the files using R2019a. I do not have access to R2019b. I can open the .m files. How might I open the .slx files?

Hello Richard,
Do you use Simulink in your PC?
Please try following command and refer the MathWorks document.
Simulink.exportToVersion(bdroot,'mymodel.slx','R2019a');

This would require that the user was executing a version of MATLAB that was at least as new as the version the model was saved under, R2019b.

you should open .slx file in 2019b and export it to 2019a version. This is the only way to open your file in 2019a.
Because opening higher version(2019b) file in lower version(2019a) software is not possible.
