Dear all,
Is it possible to plot a cos wave with the wavelength=790nm, for instance?
Thank you

No. There are no known displays that can resolve to (379*2) = 758 terahertz in order to have a minimum of 2 samples per cycle as required for a plot of a wavelength.
The highest resolution display that I can find on the market is https://www.roadtovr.com/int-announces-2228ppi-high-pixel-density-amoled-display-vr-headsets/ 2228 pixels per inch, which works out to 0.0011 cm per pixel, which is 11000 nm, which is more than 20 times too little resolution for a wavelength of 790 nm.

You can plot a magnified version, of course. Just plot a cosine wave and label it appropriately.
2*pi*379e12 * x %x is the number of full periods
