Licenses for multiple users

My university has a site license for MATLAB and all toolboxes. My lab contains a large number of linux machines, each with a large number of users. How can I set it up so that each user can use MATLAB?
In previous versions, there was a single installation, and each user had to activate it separately for their own account, using my MATLAB account. This was hugely annoying, but doable. Now in 2019a, it doesn't even give users the chance to activate. It just won't launch.
It is just ridiculous that we have to constantly fight to use the software that we are paying a huge amount of money for.

This is a question for your university's IT department.
Respectfully, no it's not. These workstations are managed by me, and I installed MATLAB on dozens of machines in the past with no problems, including in multi-user environments.

I recommend contacting Installation Technical Support using the telephone icon in the upper-right corner of this page. That will give you an opportunity to submit a support request and will also show the telephone number for your local office. They should be able to assist you in determining why your users aren't able to launch MATLAB and how to correct the problem.
