simulated annealing optimization options

Hi all,

so i was trying to run the simulated annealing optimization but it seems to me that the optimization works for a range (lower and upper bounds) for a given objective function however i want to run it for a set of points with either 2 or 3 coordinates (point in plane or space). is this possible or no..? if yes how ..??

Do you mean that you want your search to be confined to be within the convex hull of the polygon (or polyhedra) defined by a set of points you give ?

yes but only the taking the points defined in that hull and not generating random points in that hull
