I have a Mapaxes, on which i am drawing line a and markers. How to delete some of the markers from the plot without redrawing full map axes? (Markers are added using "plotm()")

are the markers added to the plot one by one in separate plotm calls? Or are you plotm vectors of locations and hope to turn off some of the markers selectively? should the points corresponding be deleted as well (possibly breaking a line)

Click on the edit plot (arrow symbol) of the plot....now click on the marker which you want....it will be selected..now right click..and select delete
