Lego EV3 connection with Matlab via bluetooth error

2 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I have tried to connect Lego EV3 from Matlab via Bluetooth, however, Matlab showed the following error message.
Error using error Unable to load a message catalog 'legoev3io:build'. Please check the file location and format.
Error in legoev3 (line 185) error(message('legoev3io:build:Legoev3BluetoothFailed'));
I have tried to find any helpful answers, but, couldn't find yet. I have no problem when I tried to connect via USB cable, however, not Bluetooth.
It would be very much appreciated for any helpful solutions.
Thank you.

There have been known bluetooth connection issues with Lego EV3 on Mac OS, while USB always seems to work. Usually, this error occurs when MATLAB is unable to locate or open the message catalog file. Refer to the instructions below to resolve this error.
1) Check if the following file exists:
support_package_root_directory\resources\legoev3io\en\build.xml
Note: support_package_root_directory is the directory where the Legoev3 support package is installed. By default, it is C:\MATLAB\SupportPackages\<matlab_version>\ for R2016a and earlier releases. And for R2016b+, it is C:\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\<matlab_version>
If the above file does not exist, contact MathWorks Technical Support .
2) If the build.xml already exists, the error may be occurring because MATLAB is unable to open the build.xml file. In this case, launch MATLAB as administrator and try to connect to Legoev3.

Thank you very much for the information. I confirmed that there is the build.xml file in the folder. Also, I launched Matlab as administrator. However, it didn't connect via Bluetooth. It showed the same error message.
Do you have any other solutions? It would be very much appreciated for some other solutions. Thank you.

By the way, I am using Windows 7 Professional for my work computer and Windows 10 Home for my personal laptop. The Windows 7 shows the following error message.
Error using error Unable to load a message catalog 'legoev3io:build'. Please check the file location and format.
Error in legoev3 (line 185) error(message('legoev3io:build:Legoev3BluetoothFailed'));
While Windows 10 shows the following error message.
Error using legoev3 (line 192) Failed to connect to EV3 through Bluetooth. Please check your Bluetooth connection.
