Pulling two sets of numbers in two separate doubles into a new double

I have one 2x43 double called FaXY3. It contains two doubles, titles FaY3 and FaX2. FaY3 and FaX2 together create a set of coordinates, so if I have 1 in FaY3 it is only associated to 3.5 in FaX2. I made a random number generator that only pulls out random numbers out of FaY3, So I don't have numbers associated with FaX2 therefore losing my 'coordinate' set. How would I pull a random number out of FaY3 and the number associated with the place in the matrix out of FaX2 into a new double?
