how can i plot in the axes of other gui??????

hello; i have two gui with buttons and axe i want to plot in the second axe *of the *second gui by cliking int the button on the first gui with the informations in the first gui how can i do ?????

findobj() the Tag for the second axes to get its handle. Then use that handle in your plotting calls, either by passing it as the first parameter to the plotting routines (supported by many plotting routines) or by using the axes as the 'Parent' property for plotting routines that allow you to pass Name/Value pairs. For example,

WHAT YOU MEAN WITH TAG AND GUI2AXES unfortunatly the tag of gui1 is the same of gui2=figure1 and also axes tag=*axes1* how can i do????

The task gets much easier if your code is allowed to know the name of the other GUI.

By the way, you cannot have two GUI with the same name interact with each other. The code for a GUI is in a .m file that has the same name as the GUI, and if you had two GUI with the same name they would need to use the same .m file name . MATLAB would then not be able to tell which of the two .m files was being referred to at any given time.

If you have control over the GUIs then you really should consider giving the axes unique names. By default GUIDE gives names which include the name of the GUI, such as MyFirstGUI_axes1 within the GUI named MyFirstGUI and provided that the GUI have different names that is enough to find the object in one step:

TheOtherAxes = findobj('Tag', 'MyFirstGUI_axes1');

And as I noted above if the GUI do not have different names and you are using GUIDE then you have a mess.
