Xilinx ZCU102 not booting with pre-built image

18 views (last 30 days)
SW6 is set in SD boot mode (https://de.mathworks.com/help/hdlcoder/ug/getting-started-with-hardware-software-codesign-workflow-for-zynq-ultrascale-mpsoc-devices.html)
First tried building linux image with the automated process in "Embedded Coder Support Package for Xilinx Zynq Platform"
Test results from serial port:
"PMU-FW is not running, certain applications may not be supported"
Second, tried the pre-built linux images from github: https://github.com/mathworks/buildroot/releases/tag/mathworks_zynq_R23.1.0
Again same test results from serial port:
"PMU-FW is not running, certain applications may not be supported"

This could be FSBL related error unrelated to HDL Coder. Found several references here. I will try to research a bit more. Please check if any of the results make sense to you.

Thank you for these references. Issue was solved after setting the SW6 boot mode in the opposite direction. The jumper settings image on the tutorial page looked to be misleading and was interpreted the wrong way.

Thanks for the update and feedback on the tutorial.
1.1. Make sure the SW6 switch is set as shown in the figure below, so you can boot up Linux from the SD card.
In addition to the image specifying switch settings might be helpful. I have communicated this feedback to HDL Coder documentation team.
