i have pictures of brain tumor cases (no good quality Unfortunately) and I would like to get three parts displayed at the end (brain, background and tumor), because it is very important for me that I have to have the tumor displayed alone. The skull (edges) has the same grayscale level as the tumor, therefore it is difficult to remove the skull and focus only on the tumor!

I'm not sure if I understand what you want to do. Can you use this image as an example to display the seeds of the Osage orange fruit (Maclura pomifera)?

Hi,
I understand that you want to use FCM algorithm for brain tumor detection.
The following resource has some methods which help to segment brain tumors from 3-D medical images using fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering algorithms:
I hope this helps.
