DICOM image to jpg conversion

Can anybody help me to convert ultrasound images in jpg format. i want to use images obtained from nemio XG machine. please help me how to convert these images in jpg format.

Why? With image analysis, you almost never want to convert to JPEG, unless it's lossless JPEG2000 or you're doing research on compression methods. I use PNG for virtually all of my images. It's lossless compression and I get about a third the size that I'd get in BMP or TIFF format. Moreover if these are human medical images, I'd be very wary about doing diagnostics off a lossy compressed image (from a legal liability standpoint).

It is true. However, it is quite difficult to get the source code of doing feature extraction on dicom image.

It's no easier to develop a feature extraction algorithm on a JPG image than on a dicom image. In fact, it may be harder if the JPG image has bad compression artifacts. So I don't understand why you implied that it's more difficult on a dicom image than on a JPG image.
