2 views (last 30 days)
set(0,'defaulttextfontsize',14);
set(0,'defaultaxesfontsize',14);
at the command prompt together create a plotting environment with font sizes that I like. What I'd like to do is permanently set these for all future matlab sessions. How would I go about doing this. Thank you for you time.

You can put the command in your setup.m file.

searching around for where to put this I found someone who recommended putting it in a startup.m file and putting that file in the ~/Documents/MATLAB/ directory. This worked for me. Thanks for your answer though, it lead me where I wanted to go.
What is the difference between setup.m and startup.m?

The difference between setup.m and startup.m is whether my memory is fading or not. Apparently it is.
