What Is SerDes Toolbox?
Design, analyze, and simulate SerDes system using SerDes Toolbox™. The toolbox includes the SerDes Designer app, a library of Simulink blocks, and examples of reference designs.
With the SerDes Designer app, you can rapidly design wired communication protocols and perform statistical analysis. You can explore a wide range of equalizer configurations and generate eye diagrams to assess the performance with the MATLAB® based parameterized models and algorithms in the app.
You can describe your chosen architecture and simulate control and adaptation algorithms with building blocks such as CTLE, DFE, FFE, and CDR. Open and customizable examples of typical applications such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and DDR provide reference designs that you can use to accelerate your design of next generation communication protocols.
SerDes Toolbox supports automatic generation of dual IBIS-AMI models. These models can be used with third-party channel simulators such as SiSoft’s QCD for system integration and verification, or can be shared with customers and vendors.
