Marco

Marco Martalo' was born in Galatina (LE), Italy, on June 1981. On March 2009, he received the Ph.D. degree in Information Technologies from the University of Parma, Italy. From October 2007 to March 2008, he was a "Visiting Scholar" at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences of the Ecole Polytechnique Federale De Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. From January 2009 to April 2012, he was a Post-Doc researcher at the Information Engineering Department (DII) of the University of Parma, Italy. From May 2012, he is an Assistant Professor at the E-Campus University and a Research Associate at the DII of the University of Parma, where he is a member of the Wireless Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks (WASN) and the MultimediaLab laboratories. His research interests are in the design of low-complexity communication and distributed signal processing algorithms for wireless systems and networks.
