How to disable comments in public view of a channel?

Hi everyone,

I have been using Thingspeak for quite some time now for monitoring data for my wife‘s greenhouse. She accesses those data via the public view of the channel. So far, so good.

Now someone has used the „feature“ to add a comment to that view. Nothing serious, but my wife isn‘t happy. Therefore she asked me to remove the comment, and to set things up in such a way that comments can no longer be added.

Thus my two questions: 1. How can I delete the comment? 2. How can I disable comments made by not signed on users?

The channel in question is https://thingspeak.com/channels/971602

With best regards

Your channel seems to be a great use of ThingSpeak. You've made a good use of gauges and field plots. At present it is not possible to disable comments for a public channel. However, you can make the channel private, and share it only with specified users, using the sharing tab. The private view (the shared view) of the channel does not show comments. The user who posted the comment can delete it themselves, so you could ask the user to delete the comment. I am not sure I handled the translation correctly, but the comment didn't seem too offensive to me. I understand that it may be bothersome though. Hopefully there is not something I missed.

Thanks, Christopher, for the quick reply!

There is nothing offensive or rude in the comment, my wife just is bothered by the sheer existence of the comment:)

Well, I will ask the user to delete the comment. If he doesn’t do so, my wife will either have to live with it
