Problem 43218. A shooting competition
In a shooting competition, the target is a square of side L containing a circle of radius R<=L/2. A player scores one point if he hit the circle.
One player shoots at the target. If the only information we have about his shoot is that he hit the square, what is the probability that he scored one point (i.e., he hit the circle)?
