where is fitglm function in statistic Toolbox of 2013a

2 views (last 30 days)
The Matlab doc online refers to 'fitglm'. However, I can't seem to find this function in the statistic Toolbox of 2013a. What am I missing?
I have the statistics toolbox installed. Other functions like lassoglm and glmfit work. but fitglm doesn't seem to exist when I type 'which fitglm'

I have the same problem and I found a way around. In 2013a, there is no fitlm, nor fitglm. The function to use are: LinearModel.fit and GeneralizedLinearModel.fit. Good luck!

fitglm was introduced in R2013b release. Here is the release notes:
fitglm is a convenience function that enables you to fit generalized linear models. Alternatively you can call: GeneralizedLinearModel.fit

Dear Bassam, Use "ver" at command window to check whether you have statistics Toolbox installed or not. If it is not installed then try to install it and then you can use "fitglm"

Dear Bassam, it's ok. I am not sure what could be the issue. Maybe there was some install time problem. I checked and I have fitglm.m. Maybe you can try to uninstall and install stats toolbox again can solve the issue
