How to include m-file in a mex-file by the S-function builder?

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi.
I'm trying to make my simulink-application, with a GUI through an s-function, into a standalone executable. The application works fine in simulink/matlab where the s-function block calls an "GUI_sf.m" file that calls the "GUI.m" file/function to open the GUI.
From what I understand, I have to build the s-function in advance using the s-function builder. But when running the simulation after replacing the normal s-function with the builder, the call to "GUI.m" is not made and no GUI appears.
Please advice.

Are you writing a MATLAB-file S-function or a C-MEX S-function? It's not clear why you want to switch to the S-function Builder (which automatically generates a C-MEX S-function), when you already have a working S-function.
