Scale of .stl file in Matlab

how does Matlab scale an .stl file . For example a model 650mm long and another 650m long is scalled same in the plot . While using these different models for staticStructural analysis, do we change the scale of all properties and input ??

@darova thank you for your reply , we solved the problem by adjusting the scale

of the input CAD data as our project was a bit time-sensitive.
