how to plot intensity profile cells of array

pls can anyone help. I want to plot cells in an array. I have a plot of intensity profile of an image. I wish to locate exact region of interest on the intensity profile and mapped same to the original image. Pls any idea. Thanks. I am new to Matlab any help will be appreciated.

Given how I have seen countless different MATLAB users interpret MATLAB terminology like arrays, cells, and even plot in several different ways. Please give a better clarification with sample code/data and exactly what you are trying to do.
