How do I make this into a function?

Hey, Ive been practicing making functions and it was going well until I came across this one. Im not sure if I can make it all into one function, but if possible that would be very nice! If I cant make it into one function, let me know how I can condense this a bit more. Currently it is in my main code and I would like to make my main code look nice and tidy =). Heres the code. Mostly Im shaky on what the input and output arguments should be.

I do not understand the question. Inserting this line on top should be enough:
function YourFunctionName

I wanted to be able to reference all of the variables. But I figured it out, just had to have the output argument as 'data'
