License Manager Error -9 after restart

When I start Matlab (2020b) after restarting my Windows 10 system, I get the following error:

"License checkout failed.

Licence Manager Error -9"

I am able to run the Activation Client and reactivate my license with no issue. But I have to go through this process every time I turn on my computer. Is there a way to solve this? I am guessing my hostid changes with each restart and giving the License Manager trouble but don't know how to resolve it.
