I'm on a MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 machine. I have installed and was functioning for quite a time Matlab 2019b. Yet, now I cannot open the Matlab. It appears on the dock, and even the dot appears for a sec or two and then nothing happens.
Could you please help me on fixing or at least understanding what is teh problem?
Many Thanks,

It would be helpful, if you can provide us the following information
1. A sample of the MATLAB process
  • Open the Activity Monitor app, located in /Applications/Utilities
  • In the search bar, type MATLAB and select the result
  • Click the gear icon and select "Sample Process"
  • Save as a text file, preferably with .log extension
2. A screenshot of MATLAB when the unresponsive behavior occurs
3. Unified system logs if the issue is 100% reproducible
  • Reproduce the unexpected behavior
  • In Terminal, execute the command: log show --info --debug --last 10m
  • Save output as .log file
4. What third party apps you had open when the unexpected behavior occurred
