Connect Simulink to Labview over the internet (TCP/IP)

Hello,

I am trying to send data from my simulink model to Labview on another computer over the internet through TCP/IP protocol. Is that even possible? Was it even done before?

Refer the File Exchange link given below it contains an example that shows how to exchange data between MATLAB and Labview over an TCP/IP connection in a very easy way. Also, both directions (Matlab to Labview and Labview to Matlab) are implemeted.
