What does "dtw" (in your tag) mean? Also, can you supply more of the error message, plus some lines of your code around the line that errored?

It means you invoked axis() passing in a scalar, or a vector that did not have 4, 6, or 8 elements. This might possibly be from an improper xlim() or ylim() call.
