Reference Multiple Selected Simulink Blocks In Matlab

I want to create a simple GUI that will set the background colour of a selection of Simulink blocks. The problem I'm stuck at is how do I reference the currently selected set of Simulink blocks? I need a kind of gcs/gcb for multiple blocks. Thanks
