how to remove a middle line in the histogram

Hi,

I have to remove the middle line in the histogram, I have attached a sample of my histogram output and the circled the line which i have to dont want in the central histogram, I am attaching my code here. pls do help me with that .

Can you just plot a subsection of those data? Is this RGB data?

See my approach: this thresholds those 'junk' data before creating the histogram. Another way would be to use binEdges as an input to histogram(). Last approach would be to use histcounts() to get the raw counts, remove the bar/s you don't want and then use a bar plot to mimic the histogram.

This is not working for all my images it works only for one image, I tried to use it for other images but not working for example

You probably need to use different thresholds for those images, so you either need to idetify and dynamically set that value, or use the last approach and exclude some of the outlying bins.

The histogram scale of left and right (234) and (236) like one starts from 10 to the power 0 and another from 10 to the power 3 in the Y axis how do I make the histogram both looks equally good like starting from the same point in the y axis. Like the attached png image, all the three graph scale looks equal .

I have always set my y limit to 0 But it nevers get to start from 0 it is sometimes starts from log 10 to the base 2 why is that ?

One way is to capture ylim after subplot(234)

ylimVals = ylim;

Then set it at subplot(236)

ylim(ylimVals);
