r2020a "Failed to install the third-party software: Arduino software"

I attempted to download the "MATLAB Support package for Arduino Hardware" on a MATLAB r2020a version installed on a Mac OSX Big Sur. I got the following error:

Failed to install the third-party software:

• Arduino software

This is required by:

• MATLAB Support Package for Arduino Hardware

How do I fix this?
