how to replace digitalio which is no more supported as of 2016

I am working on an already written script for data acquisition, and it uses the function "digitalio" to communicate with parallel port.
This part of the script is:
%% Initialize communication with Parallel Port
dio = digitalio('parallel','LPT1');
out_lines = addline(dio,0:7,0,'out');
putvalue(dio.line(1:8),dec2binvec(0,8));
I get the error: Function 'digitalio' unsupported. Use the session-based interface.
How can I resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

digitalio function is no longer supported from MATLAB R2016a
As an alternative you can use session-based interface
The documentation explains the transition of commands and workflows.
But the support for parallel adapter is not present in session-based interface.
You can use any of the following supported hardware with session based interface:

Thanks Monisha for your reply.
Here are the hardware that I need to use for my experiment, and I appreciate it if you could tell me if they are all compaitble to be used with MATLAB R2020b in a data acquisition experiment, on a Lenovo ThinkPad with Windows 10 Pro.
EEG recording: either g.Tec or Brain Vision Recorder,
Eye tracking devide: Pupil Invisible and Pupil Core.
I need to send trial onset/offset triggers from MATLAB to both the EEG device and the eye tracking device.
Thanks.
