Android - Moving image from Android to Matlab

I want to know if that is possible.

I'm working on a project. I will move image from Android to Java server and from Java server to Matlab. After image processing i will move result image from matlab to Java server and from Java server to Android.

After transferring images from Android to Java server, the subsequent process is automatic.

Is it possible?

Note:Tomcat is not used. I use java socket.
