Note: Simscape Multibody is a separate product from Simscape. You will need to install both if you want to use Simscape Multibody.
- To install the Simscape Multibody Link Plug-in, follow the steps given in the link :Install the Simscape Multibody Link Plug-In
- To install Simscape and Simscape Multibody (formerly SimMechanics) you can use the 'Add-Ons' button in the Environment section under the Home tab. Clicking on the 'Add-Ons' button will open a new window where you can choose to install additional toolboxes. For more details about the steps involved please refer to the following link:https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_env/get-add-ons.html
- Also, sometimes certain security softwares can block MATLAB installer. Please go through the following answer to resolve this : Why am I getting "access is denied" during installation?
