Tcenter = interpolateTemperature(result,[0.0;-1.5],1:numel(tlist));
Touter = interpolateTemperature(result,[0.2;-1.5],1:numel(tlist));
What does it mean by [0.0;-1.5]?

Commas separte inputs in Matlab. So both the variable result and the vector [0;1.5] are inputs to the interpolateTemperature function.
