VPN Disconnect resulting in failure to connect to license while running long simulation using SPMD

I was running matlab using SPMD and connected to a VPN for the license use. While running a large number of samples over night, the VPN somehow became disconnected but it looks like the samples continued to run until the end at which point I received errors from each lab indicating a failure to retrieve the license. This message displayed a couple of times before the Matlab session timed out. It loos like all of the calculations were performed but they were not exported to the work space. The workers appear to still be open in the sessions. So I was wondering if there was any possibility that my data was somehow stored somewhere that I could retrieve it from or do I need to rerun the entire thing?
