Can I put different figures in the same window next to each other?

I have 16 figures that I would like to put in the same window next to each other, how can I do that?

I put a picture attached of the figures

You can use subplot to create axes in tiled positions.

subplot(2,1,1);
x = linspace(0,10);
y1 = sin(x);
plot(x,y1)

subplot(2,1,2);
