Guessing what you may want, try this:

To only change one (the right) y-axis box line:

plot([1 1]*max(xlim), ylim, '-b', 'LineWidth',1.5)
hold off

set(gca, 'LineWidth', 1.5)
title('Redefined Box Linewidth (1.5)')

The right y-axis box line is defined as the maximum value of xlim and both values of ylim. The multiplication by [1 1] is necessary so that the x and y arguments to plot have the same number of elements.

It is not necessary to substitute any of them. You can run that code snippet exactly as I wrote it. All you need to do is to apply it to the plot that you want to use it with. All those are core MATLAB functions.

This works:

data = rand(size(x));                                   % Create Missing Variable
Distilledwater =[data];
plot(x,Distilledwater,'k','LineWidth',2.5)
Ax = gca;
Ax.YColor = 'b';                                        % Change Color
Ax.YAxis(2).LineWidth = 1.5;                            % Change LineWidth

Specify the YAxis(2) (right y-axis) line width to be whatever you want, or eliminate that line to use the default value. I kept it at 1.5 here for consistency.
