MATLAB Grader - student data exported from grader is unpredictable

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
We use Matlab Grader integrated with Canvas for weekly tutorial problems for 300 students. Now that the semester is finished, we have downloaded the students' marks from the Grader server, but each time we download the marks they change slightly. Can someone explain why the data are not stable when exported? We suspect it is something to do with the deadline that Grader is applying. For the last few years, even though we have specified our problem deadlines based on standarded eastern time for Australia, Grader has imposed Greenwich Mean Time as the deadline. So students were being flagged as late even though their submissions were not late. Can anyone comment on these issues, and whether they may be related?
Thanks

Are your students solving the MATLAB Grader problems in Canvas or in a course hosted on grader.mathworks.com?

Hi Chris,
They are solving the MATLAB Grader problems in a course hosted on grader.mathworks.com.
Sorry, my mention of Canvas was not really relevant - we end up uploading the Grader marks to Canvas, but that is not what is causing the problem. The instability is in the marks downloaded from garder.mathworks.com.
Best,
Andre

In that case, the best thing to do is contact technical support.
