How do I update RoadRunner?

How do I update RoadRunner?  Can it be updated through a patch or partial binaries?

RoadRunner is not updated through patches or partial binaries.  Instead, RoadRunner must be uninstalled, then reinstalled by the standalone update installer.

For Windows, the user will be prompted to automatically uninstall the older version by the installer, but Unix-based operating systems will be required to delete the older version of RoadRunner before running the installer.
