How to reslice and recall two images ?

Hello,

I have two 3D CT images for the same patient. The first, taken at t1 time, contains 14 slices. The second, taken a t2 time, contains 12 slices.

I want to compare area of an organ. But I haven't the same number of slices for each image, neither the same field of view.

I think I should reslice and recall the two images.

Is there a simple way to do it ? such a simple algorithme or a simple tools?

If possible, you can also drop the last two slices from image 1

image1(:,:,end-1:end) = [];

imresize3() doesn't solve my probleme.

I know that I can drop 2 slices from image 1 to get the same number of slices in image 2 but I want to do that automatically via a simple tools or software .

What is the difference between your required output and the output of imresize3()?

I don't want to resize image. I want to make the same number of slices for the two images.

But what method do you want to use to make them have an equal number of slices? Using interpolation, or extrapolation?
